Every year, hordes of people make their way to the nation's capital for the National Cannabis Festival, a lively event packed with top-notch performers, vendors, and mouth-watering cannabis-infused goodies. It’s a bit ironic, given that you can’t legally buy or produce cannabis in the city on a large scale. But hey, that doesn't seem to put a damper on anyone's mood. Plus, most dispensaries have come up with a solution. Recreational cannabis use is completely legal. And while D.C. dispensaries can't directly sell marijuana (except for medical reasons), they can gift up to 10 ounces of cannabis with the purchase of any other item. So explore some art, enjoy baked treats and experience the high life in D.C., where cannabis culture is alive and well.
